Quintessential to the Baseball Paradise game plan is their pledge to give, give back, and just keep giving to the communities and surrounding areas into which the Baseball Paradise family moves. To facilitate these efforts, strategic partnerships have already been formed with the likes of the Foundation Para el Desarrollo Banilejo, Inc. and Metallic Technologies & Investment B.V. The roster of active players in our efforts of “Reaching Out and Giving Back” will surely grow as the Puerto Baní destination-resort blossoms like a desert rose.
The essence of “Reaching Out and Giving Back” is crystal clear (or “Claro”, as the locals in Baní would say): The Baseball Paradise family is committed spiritually, physically, mentally, socially and fiscally to improving the quality of life for the respective citizenry of each community they set camp up in.
While improvement of the quality of life entails the natural byproducts of responsible, destination-resort development (i.e. job creation, career education & training, enhanced communal identity, increased tourism revenues, improved access to services, etc.), it includes much more.
The Baseball Paradise family is committed to give back 10% of its profits to the creation, restoration, access, improvement, development and enhancement of agricultural practices, educational pursuits, urban planning, transit systems, religious & core value tutelage, medical services, water management, information technology, sanitation control and much more.
Metallic Technologies & Investment B.V. and the Foundation Para el Desarrollo Banilejo, Inc. have both also pledged millions in to these forthcoming activities.
A tailored example of the type of activities the BP family will be undertaking in the Dominican Republic is the scholastic baseball academy. We are proud to identify this opportunity that we collectively came up with and will be implementing with a portion of each dollar made in Puerto Baní. This family-sensitive, recruitment driven, scholarship-based school will be a unique opportunity for the participants and community alike, as well as a showcase to the world of the positive impact responsible development can have on generations to come.
