About Us
Puerto Bani is forty miles West of Santo Domingo on the Caribbean Sea, the idea and it's creation has come about from several team members.
"The story of Puerto Bani is not my own. It started long ago with the Taino Indians and then with Christopher Columbus himself, who, later discovering the many isles of the Caribbean, chose to live and die in the Dominican Republic. While our ever growing team currently carries the cultural and historical torch of this great, virtually undiscovered region of the Dominican Republic's outback, we too are striving to leave for our children and our children's children a legacy as rich and storied as the one that was left to us.

Puerto Bani is not a Caribbean resort.
Yes, you heard me right. Yes, it is a place that one frequents for relaxation and escape, but it is much, much more than that. Puerto Bani is a "Destination Community," with the invitation to come invitation to "Come Stay Awhile, and Then Just stay."
Yes, Puerto Bani will boast many of the features one would expect to find at a Caribbean, oceanfront resort, e.g. world class golf courses undulating around perfectly impossibly-placed oceanfront mountain sides, impossibly clear blue waters gently lapping white sandy beaches, impossibly fresh culinary delights prepared by gastronomic prodigies from around the globe, and more. These things are all part of the master plan of the paradisaical oceanfront "outback" and are not only perfectly possible but are indeed expected.
So, what makes Puerto Bani...well, Puerto Bani? Is it the rarefied air of the oceanfront estates? The mountain-side pedestrian villages with their quaint, yet modern luxuries that give one the unique feel of being somewhere anciently contemporary and at home all at the same time? The scholar shipped school and modern medical facilities preparing the minds and bodies of young and old alike, to be the explorers , the adventurers, the doctors, lawyers, entrepreneurs, and all-star athletes of tomorrow? Is it the performing arts campus and museums sharing the country's and baseball's storied cultural wealth and history? Or is it the world's first seaside Residential Stadium, aspiring host to future MLB games, the World Baseball Classic, Caribbean World Series, concerts, and perhaps even the home of one of the Dominican's pro teams?
Well, the best answer is this: You will just to come and see, Come See How We Play!
They say necessity is the mother of all invention...and so it is for Puerto Bani. The conceptual seed of the self-sustainable destination community, and more particularly the Residential Stadium, was born in pursuit to the answer of the question. As strange as it may seem, the question was this "How do we create a sustainable world class sports rehabilitation clinic for athletes (and tired executives alike) in this island paradise?" The answer, build a stadium complex supported by a residential component of primary and secondary home owners, tourists and retirees alike. Not to over-simplify, bur wrap your mind around that one and 4,000 acres and 3 years later you have what will be one of the regions great, destination treasures, Puerto Bani." -Brent Woodson
